Weekend plans? Here’s your forecast and what you need to plan for

CHILLY AND WET NIGHT
The risk for showers will be increasing through the evening as a storm system approaches the Valley. Showers are expected to begin developing between 9PM – 11PM with rain likely through the overnight. It will be chilly with lows dropping down toward the upper 30s by daybreak.

WEEKEND KICKS OFF WITH SHOWERS
Showers will be ongoing Saturday morning. Scattered rain is expected to continue through the majority of the morning and begin tapering off into the afternoon. Even though most of the rain will end by noon, a few lingering lake effect showers or sprinkles remain possible, especially for the northern snowbelt. All showers will taper off into Saturday evening. Some peeks of sunshine are expected into the late afternoon and just before sunset. It will be a chilly day with highs only rising to around 50°.  

CHILLY MORNING FOLLOWED BY NICER DAY SUNDAY
Saturday night will be another cold one with lows returning to the upper 30s. Clouds will be clearing across the area overnight. Sunday will be a nicer day. It will be a bit warmer as highs rise to the upper 50s. We will see partly to mostly sunny skies throughout the day. 

RAIN RETURNS FOR THE START OF THE WORKWEEK
Showers are expected to return to the area Sunday night into Monday. We begin the workweek with morning lows in the upper 40s. Showers are likely Monday morning and are expected to continue through the day. Highs rise to the mid 50s.
