Stormy pattern continues for end of the week



1. Occasional showers and storms Friday
–Our stormy pattern continues with hit-or-miss showers and storms Friday. The chance for rain becomes more isolated Friday night into Saturday morning and temperatures turn a bit coolr. After highs in the lower to mid-70s, temperatures drop to around 50° Friday night.

2. A few changes to the weekend forecast
–Saturday will be a mostly cloudy and cooler day. Highs will be in the lower 60s. Another wave of low pressure moves into the region, bringing more scattered showers. The latest data coming in this Thursday evening has showed a slow-down in the arrival of rain Saturday. It is looking like the day begins mainly dry with the chance for rain ramping up into Saturdasy evening. This change will have impacts on Sunday’s forecast. While the last several days have shown Sunday looking dry, the slowdown in Saturday’s storm system will allow for lingering rain Sunday morning. Current thinking is Scattered showers or sprinkles Sunday morning with rain ending late morning and skies turnbing partly sunny for the afternoon. Highs are still expected to climb to around 70° Sunday

3. Temperatures warm again next week
–Monday is looking partly sunny and turns warmer with highs bouncing back to the lower 70s. Tuesday warms to the upper 70s with the chance for rain and storms returning for the afternoon and evening. Highs remain in the upper 70s Wednesday.
