Seasonal temperatures resume Thursday, rain resumes later this week

Thursday will be warmer and will feature a bit more sunshine. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Thursday looks like a dry day and a good chance to do some yard-work.

Friday doesn’t look like a complete washout but will feature the chance for some spotty showers or storms, especially into the afternoon and evening. Highs will be around 80°.

A frontal boundary will be held up over the region Saturday as a wave of low pressure moves along the boundary. This will serve as the focal point for rain and storms to develop. Scattered rain and storms are likely Saturday and Saturday evening. Expect plenty of clouds for the day with highs in the middle 70s. The greatest chance for seeing rain and storms looks like Saturday afternoon and evening. We will have the chance for some lingering showers early Sunday before the weather improves Sunday afternoon and evening.

Model data is pointing at a return to 80° weather for next week. Monday will be nearing 80° for daytime highs. We should surpass the 80° mark Tuesday and Wednesday and will likely stay warmer through the end of the week.
