North Jackson, OH (WYTV) – Tyler Totani hit a walk off RBI single in the bottom of the 7th inning to help Jackson Milton defeat McDonald, 10-9 Tuesday in a Division IV Sectional Final.
The Blue Devils jumped out to an early lead, and were up 5-1 in the 3rd inning. But Jackson Milton mounted a big comeback and trailed 9-8 before Totani drove home the game-winning runs. Totani went 4-5 with 4 RBI’s on the day.
Justin Rentz earned the win on the mound, throwing 2 strikeouts in 1.1 innings of work. McDonald was led by Cameron Ifft and Garrett Mulrooney with 2 hits apiece. The Blue Devils finish the season with a 12-10 overall record.
2nd seeded Jackson Milton improves to 16-6-1 on the season and advance to play 7th seeded Sebring McKinley in the District Semifinals next Monday at 4 p.m. at Cene Park.
