Boardman is playing their third home game at their new state of the art Spartan Stadium.

After being outscored in their first two games (against Mentor and Mooney) by a combined total of 69-13 – the Spartans won their week three matchup at Jackson (20-10) before falling to Perry (13-10). Last week, Boardman shut out Lorain, 21-0, to notch their second win of the year. Mario Graziani scored twice on the ground while Gavin Dill scampered once into the endzone for the Spartans.

The last time the Spartans scored more than 21 points in a single game was on October 18, 2013 when they dropped a 35-28 matchup with Jackson in Massillon.

Mike Pavlansky notched his 100th win at Canfield on September 18, 2015 following their victory over Lakeside (23-13).

After their season opening loss to Louisville (40-14), the Cardinals have won four in a row by knocking off their opponents by a combined score of 128-46.

In their last outing, Canfield took care of Struthers by a score of 45-6.
