BROOKFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – In their first season back in the All-American Conference since 2009, Brookfield made their names felt. They were a perfect 6-0 in the Blue Tier and won a playoff game.

The Warriors, however, will be without Big 22 quarterback Augustus Necastro, among others. The question is if they can overcome those losses and make it back to week 11 this season.

Head Coach Randy Clark led the team on a ten-game winning streak at one point last season and returns seven starters on each side of the ball.

One of those starters will move to the signal caller role as speedster Xavier Bailey will be under center for Brookfield. He had 8 touchdowns last season.

Helping Bailey out in his first season under center will be a very experienced offensive line that is expected to pave the way for the Warriors this season.

The Warriors open the season at Springfield, a re-match of a memorable Week 1 last season as the Tigers stormed back to top Brookfield. The Warriors didn’t lose again during the regular season after that.

Three out of their next four will be at home where they’ll be hosting Valley Christian, Berkshire, and Newton Falls.
