MERCER COUNTY, Pa. (WKBN) – PennDOT announced on Friday that construction will start soon to rehabilitate a Mercer County Bridge.
The bridge carries Route 318 (Middlesex Mercer Road) over Little Neshannock Creek. It is between Orchard Road in Lackawannock Township and Flat Road (Route 3039) and Rocky Springs Road in East Lackawannock Township.
According to a press release, the project will replace beams, deck and parapets. PennDOT said there will also be new roadway approaches and guiderail upgrades.
The project starts April 15 and is expected to continue until July 19.
The detour for trucks is Route 19, Interstate 80 and Route 376. The detour for cars is Route 62 and Neshannock Road.
