Hunters and anglers will soon be able to get their 2019-2020 state license in Ohio.
People will be able to purchase the new licenses starting March 1, ODNR stated in a press release.
Licenses can be purchased online or at participating locations across Ohio. Once a license is bought online, any buyer with an account can reprint the license for free.
Fishing and hunting licenses each cost $19. The license will be valid after purchase and will expire 365 days after the purchase date.
According to ODNR, Ohio residents can also buy a multi-year license, including three-year, five-year, 10 year and lifetime licenses.
ODNR said lifetime licenses can only be purchased online.
A nonresident or apprentice hunting license in Ohio will cost $180.96, a nonresident white-tailed deer permit will cost $76.96 and a nonresident fishing license will cost $50.96.
As of Jan. 1, nonresidents are required to have a Lake Erie permit to fish in Lake Erie between Jan. 1 and April 30 of every year.
