YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A Youngstown man charged in the beating death of his girlfriend was sentenced Monday.
Larry Johnson, 40, was sentenced to 15 years in prison in the 2013 death of 26-year-old LaShea Parker inside the couple’s Shelby Street home.
Johnson’s trial was scheduled to begin Monday, but he entered a plea Friday in Mahoning County Court.
Parker’s body was found New Year’s Eve by a neighbor.
