It’s Greek Week on Youngstown State’s campus. For sororities and fraternities, that means it’s time for the annual clothing drive.
The chapters compete to see who can get the most donations to help those who are less fortunate in our community.
This year, over 5,000 clothing items were collected and donated to Goodwill.
“While it is a part of our Greek Week competition, we’re still able to put that forward and help our community out,” said Lexi Timko, co-chair of Greek campus life.
The students also collected over 10,000 canned food items for the campus food pantry and Second Harvest Foodbank.
