Youngstown police: Pregnant woman stabs man in neck

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A pregnant woman stabbed a man in the neck with a knife on the south side of Youngstown Saturday night, police say.

Jasmine Harrison, 26, is being charged with felonious assault.

Youngstown police were called to a home on the 500 block of Willis Avenue around 8 p.m. for a stabbing.

According to the report, police arrived to find the woman – Harrison – sitting in a car. They located the man on a front porch bleeding.

The man told police Harrison stabbed him in the neck while he was sitting on the bed watching football. He added he didn’t know why she stabbed him.

According to the report, the man was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in stable condition.

Harrison was also taken to Northside Hospital because she told police she was nine months pregnant and going into labor. She was later released and charged.
