Youngstown man charged with identity theft

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A federal grand jury has indicted a Youngstown man, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office statement released Thursday, charging that he stole someone’s identity.

The jury charged that Ricardo Garcia-Baltazar, aka Richard Molina, 37, of Youngstown, faked U.S. citizenship and stole someone’s identification between Jan. 17 and March 8.

The investigation preceding the indictment was conducted by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations. The matter is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jason M. Katz.
