A man accused of sexual misconduct with a minor is back in the Mahoning County Jail after being arrested in New York.

Alex Bugno is charged with six counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, 14 counts of compelling prostitution and 14 counts of importuning.

In April he turned himself into U.S. Marshals but was let out on bond.

He was arrested in Buffalo, New York in June for leaving Ohio without permission. Authorities say he was there attempting to renew his passport. Bugno waived extradition June 12, in front of a judge in Erie County.

Bugno owns a tow truck company in Youngstown, his business was raided in 2014 which later led to his arrest.

“We are in possession of multiple recordings of sex acts performed by this defendant,” Atty. Steve Yacovone previously stated.

At the time, authorities filed court papers indicating that a pair of teenage boys had complained to police that Bugno paid them to engage in sex acts — some of them recorded and then posted to pornographic websites.
