Youngstown bank robbery suspect arraigned

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Bond was set at $100,000 for the man suspected of robbing a downtown Youngstown bank last week.

Phil Whitman, Jr. heard the charge against him in court Monday afternoon.

He was arrested Thanksgiving Day when Youngstown police found him driving a car matching one seen leaving the First National Bank on Central Square a week ago.

Whitman will be back in court next month.
