A local entrepreneur is going to be internationally recognized for his work.
Dr. Patrick Gaughan has been accepted as a Fulbright Scholor at Hanoi Law University in Vietnam for the 2020 spring term, said the Youngstown Business Incubator in a press release.
The Fulbright Program awards 8,000 grants every year. Gaughan said he plans to develop institutional relationships and continue his research into business while in Vietnam.
“We are extremely pleased that Dr. Patrick Gaughan has been selected for this prestigious opportunity,” said Youngstown Business Incubator CEO Barb Ewing in the release. “Patrick has been a great friend to the YBI for many years in addition to being an astounding entrepreneur. We’re thrilled to be able to share in his success thus far.”
Gaughan is an associate professor of law and Assistant Dean of Global Engagement at the University of Akron.
