BOARDMAN, Ohio (WYTV) – Boardman Police arrested a woman Monday after a man claimed that she lured him into the woods and had a friend of hers beat him up Sunday evening.

Police charged Julia Belvedere, 20, with aggravated robbery, tampering with evidence and obstructing justice.

According to a police report, a man named Vincent Riccardo came to Boardman Police Sunday evening and told them that he and Belvedere met up at Boardman Park Sunday. While the two were walking into the woods together, Riccardo said that a man punched him in the head, began beating him with a metal object and took his phone.

Riccardo told police that he thought Belvedere helped plan the incident because earlier in the day, he threatened to post naked pictures of her online when she said she wanted to stop sleeping with him, according to his testimony in the report.

Riccardo has not been charged in connection with the incident, according to the report and court records.

A phone number for Belvedere was not available on the police report.
