BELOIT, Ohio (WYTV) – West Branch Local Schools will reopen Wednesday after a potential threat to students and staff kept district buildings closed Tuesday.

After an investigation by the Goshen Police Department and the Columbiana County Sheriff, the threat to the district was ruled not credible.

All district buildings are cleared and students and staff are allowed to re-enter.

Coaches can hold practice and teams can participate in games Tuesday.

“We thank Goshen Police and the Columbiana County Sheriff for their quick response to ensure the safety of our students and staff,” says Micki Egli, acting Superintendent at West Branch Local School District. “We look forward to seeing our students again in the morning!”
