CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Canfield was not immune to Tuesday’s flooding.
Viewers sent us video from the Blueberry Hill neighborhood off of Herbert Road. The water rose all the way up to a small bridge in someone’s yard.
There was also flash flooding in the area of Tippecanoe Road and Route 224 following the day’s heavy rain and storms.
From 4:30 until around 8 p.m., a line of heavy rain parked itself along Route 224 from Poland all the way to Canfield. The hardest hit seem to be Boardman and Canfield.
If you live in Canfield and need a place to stay, Canfield Presbyterian Church on W. Main Street is opening its doors as a shelter. The American Red Cross is also helping flood victims.
