WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – Police in Warren are investigating an incident where a witness said a man threatened her on Snapchat and then showed up at her house with what she thought was a gun.

Officers were called about 11:50 p.m. Friday to a home on Hamilton Avenue S.W. after a woman there said her daughter received a message from a man identified as Christopher Mullenax, 20, of Warren, saying he was coming to her house with a gun.

The woman said she spotted Mullenax in front of her house and told him if he had a gun, she was going to call police. The woman said that is when Mullenax pointed what she believed was a gun at her.

En route to Hamilton Avenue, police spotted a man fitting the description of the suspect walking in the area of Jefferson Street and Nevada Avenue and confronted him. Officers ordered the man, who they identified as Mullenax, to the ground and recovered an air soft gun.

Mullenax was arrested and charged with aggravated menacing.
