YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A candle light vigil and benefit are set to take place Monday night in Youngstown for 10-year-old Corinne Gump.

The benefit is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. at a baseball field near 3631 Powers Way, the site of the fatal fire that killed Corinne, along with her grandparents Bill and Judy Schmidt.

The band “Hat Tricks” wrote a special song for Corinne. They’re putting together the event to help the family pay for their funeral expenses.

Corinne was laid to rest Monday. About 200 people attended her funeral service.

Corinne was a 4th grader at South Range Elementary.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire that killed her and her grandparents and have not filed any charges as of Tuesday.
