WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The United Way of Trumbull County now has a new home.

The organization held its ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning.

It’s now in the heart of downtown Warren on Harmon Avenue.

The old offices were off US-422 for years.

This new building is smaller but still has plenty of room for a food pantry as well.

CEO Christine Cope said it’s worth it to be closer to the people and organizations that they serve.

“We have always funded programs in Trumbull County, and we’re going to continue to do that. We don’t need more space to do that. We don’t have very many direct services, so we didn’t need that amount of space,” Cope said.

United Way of Trumbull County is looking forward to its 100th year in 2023 and supporting early childhood literacy initiatives in the near future.
