Train heads to Youngstown Amphitheatre Wednesday

Local News

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – There was a big crowd Wednesday night at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre as the rock band Train played some of their hits like “Drops of Jupiter” and “Hey, Soul Sister.”

The band Vertical Horizon was the opening act.

One fan we talked with beforehand was excited because it was her first concert.

“Well, my husband brought me out on a date. So this is going to be our very first concert together and since I’m like, five years now in America, so I’m a new citizen too,” said Jacqueline Payne.

7-year-old Addie: “This is my first concert.”
Reporter Megan Lee: “How excited are you then?”
Addie: “Really excited! Oh yeah!”

Just a reminder, the Little Big Town concert scheduled for Friday has been canceled due to some crew members testing positive for the coronavirus.
