Storms cause power outages in Mahoning, Mercer counties

(WKBN) – Tuesday evening storms have caused several power outages across the Valley, especially in Mahoning and Mercer counties, according to FirstEnergy.

As of 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Mahoning County is seeing 206 outages — down from about 500 at one point — with the majority in Campbell at 158. Power is expected to be restored by 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Trumbull County is seeing six outages. Power is expected to be restored by 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Salem in Columbiana County is reporting fewer than five outages. Power is expected to be restored by 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

In Mercer County, Pennsylvania, 47 customers are reporting outages, with the majority in Salem Township at 21. Power should be restored by 2 a.m. Wednesday.

Lawrence County is seeing 100 outages, with the majority in Shenango Township at 93. Power should be restored by 2 a.m. Wednesday.
