Local News

MERCER, Pa. (WYTV) – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials confirmed that a reduction of the speed limit to 45 miles per hour on Interstate 80 in Mercer and Venango Counties has been cancelled as of 12:30 Thursday.

The reduction came due to the severity of snow accumulation and cold temperatures. Speed limits are back to normal now.

Officials with PennDOT first put the reduction into place earlier Thursday morning.
