LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. (WYTV) – A semi-truck caught fire on Interstate 76 westbound in Lawrence County early Sunday morning.
The driver noticed the flames and pulled off to the side of the road just before 1 a.m.
Traffic was restricted to one lane while firefighters were putting out the fire. Thick smoke clouded the road, making it hard for drivers to see.
The firefighters said they believe the brakes on the truck sparked the fire, but the cause is still under investigation.
The truck was carrying snack cookies and crackers.
