YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A new trial began Monday for Michael Paige.
It’s the second time Paige will go before a jury for the death of Munir Blake back in 2012.
Another jury found him not guilty of aggravated murder, but couldn’t come to an agreement on whether or not he was guilty of murder.
Police say Paige shot Blake after Blake accused him of stealing electricity from his apartment on the north side of Youngstown.
Defense lawyers also previously argued that Paige was not mentally stable to stand trial again, but the judge disagreed.
