Salem city employees getting bonus for working during pandemic

SALEM, Ohio (WKBN) – Some Salem city workers are getting a COVID bonus, according to the Morning Journal.

On Tuesday, council unanimously approved the move.

It’s a one-time payment for their work during the pandemic.

The amount employees will get is 3% of the 2020 earnings.

That money will come from the American Rescue Plan.
