VIENNA, Ohio (WYTV) – A new non-alcoholic USO lounge opened at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station. It is the first of its kind nationwide.
The lounge will have games and a coffee bar for the military men and women.
It is a non-alcoholic atmosphere to help service members with morale and readiness.
Bruce Bille, with the USO Northern Ohio, said it is great to see the facility open. Now all they need is help from the community.
“If anybody wants to help us run it in volunteering we always use volunteers to come out and serve those who are serving our country,” Bille said.
There were a few familiar faces at Saturday’s ribbon cutting, including YSU President Jim Tressel.
