LIBERTY TWP., Ohio (WYTV) – A ramp that takes you onto Interstate 80 in Liberty Township was closed for a while after a semi rolled over.
It happened just after 5 p.m. on the Route 11 southbound ramp that takes you onto I-80 eastbound.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said 62-year-old William Blackmon, of Mississippi, was driving his semi on the ramp when he went onto the left shoulder.
Troopers said he hit the guardrail and the semi flipped over onto its side.
Blackmon was taken to the hospital but he was not seriously hurt.
The semi was carrying scrap metal, which spilled during the crash.
Police blocked the ramp so it could be cleaned up.
Blackmon was charged with failure to maintain reasonable control of his vehicle.
