NESHANNOCK, Pa. (WYTV) – A New Castle Man has been arrested after Neshannock Police say he stole an ATV that he requested to test drive.

Police said the suspect, Michael Benegasi, Jr., posed as a buyer interested in purchasing the ATV. The seller told Benegasi not to leave his property while driving the ATV, but police said he drove four miles away from the E. Police found the ATV about three hours later in a wooded area near Pulaski Road.

Benegasi gave an officer a fake name, address and birthday to hide his identity, according to a news release from the police department. He was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, false identification to law enforcement and operating an ATV on streets and highways.
