YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN)- A new study from a medical publication on The Lancet is looking into how well Pfizer’s COVID vaccine works over time.

It’s 90% effective for at least 6 months after the second dose.

After 6 months, the effectiveness dropped to 47%.

The study shows that protection against hospitalization stays strong over time.
