WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – If you drove through Trumbull County on Friday morning, you may have noticed more people riding bicycles.
It was the 8th Annual Bike to Work Warren Day.
Over the years, more people are getting on their bikes to join this event.
Cyclists got a free breakfast, t-shirt and got entered into a 50/50 raffle.
It all promoted a different way of getting to work.
“To show that there are other modes of transportation to take other than a car, so we could walk or bike into work, as well as being physically active and other health benefits,” said organizer Jenna Amerine.
Organizers also want bicyclists to be safe on the roads. Remember when bicycling, ride with traffic on the right side of the road and obey all traffic laws, including turn signals.
