PennDOT restores speed limit on I-80 in Mercer County

The wintry weather Monday caused the temporary change

(WYTV) – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation temporarily reduced the speed limit on Interstate 80 in Mercer County Monday morning but the speed limit has since been restored.

It went down to 45 miles per hour as a result of the winter weather Monday morning.

Currently, commercial vehicles are allowed to use the right lane.

The speed limit was also reduced on I-80 in Venango County.
