CANFIELD, Ohio (WYTV) – An OVI checkpoint will be held in Mahoning County on Saturday.
The checkpoint is designed to deter and intercept impaired drivers, according to the Mahoning County OVI Task Force.
The Task Force says specific details of the checkpoint will be announced at a later time. Saturation patrols will also be out throughout the weekend.
The checkpoint and patrols are supported by Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ohio Department of Transportation, Mahoning Safe Communities and the Mahoning County EMA.
