WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – An appeal hearing with the Board of Elections is scheduled for Monday for Warren policeman Joe O’Grady.

O’Grady wants to run for Trumbull County Sheriff as a Democrat.

The Trumbull Board of Elections ruled in December that O’Grady didn’t meet the December 16 deadline to file his paperwork.

O’Grady filed his paperwork a day after it needed to be in.

O’Grady will be running against incumbent Thomas Altiere and challenger Paul Monroe in the Democratic primary election, scheduled for March 15.
