NORTH JACKSON, Ohio (WYTV) – A township-wide yard sale is happening in North Jackson this weekend.
It began at 9 a.m. Friday and sales will continue through the day Saturday.
The two-day event is organized by the North Jackson Citizens Association and features nearly 200 vendors. Most are set up at the high school football stadium on Mahoning Avenue, and the rest are scattered around town.
There’s a map and booklet available at the stadium to help you find all the sales.
WYTV caught up with one organizer who explained why this yard sale is such a big deal to the community.
“We do this just because of our pride in the community, for the betterment of the community, get some exposure for the community,” Gary Hemphill said. “This yard sale brings a lot of people from out of town and the surrounding area to see our community and what goes on here.”
