Local News

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) — Sources say one person was killed in a crash Thursday night involving a motorcycle and vehicle in which the driver of the vehicle left the area after the crash.

The victim has not yet been identified. An autopsy is being conducted Friday.

The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. at East Market Street and Laird Avenue in front of Trumbull Regional Medical Center.

The motorcycle was lying on its side in the street. The only sign of the vehicle involved was what appeared to be a white bumper left behind.

911 caller: “I just had a car come flying down my road that looked like possible a hit and run. His whole front end was ripped off. It was squealing and screeching and he almost ran the Amazon guy over.”

According to Trumbull County dispatch, the vehicle was a white SUV that left eastbound on Market Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call Warren police.
