A man was killed in a logging accident in Middlefield, according to Trumbull County dispatch.
It happened just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Trumbull County Hardwoods on Bundysburg Windsor Mills Road.
The victim was identified as 55-year-old Bradley Roberts, of Atwater, Ohio.
Roberts was employed by Trappers Creek Farms, LLC.
Investigators said as one of the straps on the vehicle was released, a log rolled off of the truck and struck Roberts in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate.
