GREEN TWP., Ohio (WYTV) – A Steubenville man is jailed on breaking and entering charges after Goshen police discovered him inside a home on the former Jim Traficant farm in Greenford.
The Morning Journal says Michael Metaxas, 59, was arrested early Wednesday morning after an alarm was activated at the West South Range Road property. Metaxas was arrested without incident.
The farm is now owned by John Chahine and Elizabeth Traficant-Chahine, the daughter of the late congressman. Traficant died in 2014 from injuries suffered from a tractor accident at the farm.
Metaxas told officers he was married to a Gabriella Traficant and claimed to own the farm. Traficant had just one daughter.
