The Mahoning County Health District is putting together a focus group for people who live in rural areas.
It needs 15 residents from rural communities.
The focus group will help the county health district craft a new community health plan, which shapes what programs are available in the area.
“There have been seven focus groups around the two counties, specifically, reaching out to communities that don’t often get heard,” Health Commissioner Pat Sweeney said.
You’ll get $30 for participating.
It will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27 at Goshen Township Hall on South Range Road.
Space is limited, so call 330-270-2855 ext. 149 to reserve your spot.
Similar groups have been held in Mahoning and Trumbull counties. Instead of rural residents, those groups focused on the elderly, minorities and college students.
