AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Austintown Local Schools were placed on lockdown briefly on Monday morning.
School officials say a seventh grade student posted a photo online Sunday night that showed a pellet gun in his waistband. Other students reported the photo to school employees, and the student was taken into custody for questioning when he arrived at school.
Police say no gun was found at the school, and the lockdown has since been lifted.
