YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – Kravitz Delicatessen — a staple of the north side of Youngstown since 1939 — just opened one new location this month. Now, it’s set to unveil another.
On Wednesday, the restaurant business is opening Kravitz’s Garden Café inside the DD Davis Center at Fellows Riverside Garden in Mill Creek MetroPark. This location will feature soups, sandwiches, salads, baked goods and specialty beverages like milkshakes and smoothies.
The café will be open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, while Sundays will consist of a brunch featuring an endless made-to-order omelet bar.
“Certainly everyone can find something to eat here,” said Kim Rydarowicz, the café’s manager.
Earlier this month, Kravitz’s Inspired Café opened on Sept. 6 inside the Canfield Library. It became the second library location for the Kravitz family, as their business is already the exclusive caterer for the Poland Library.
The expansions are part of the Inspired Catering services started by Kravitz Delicatessen last year.
Owner Jack Kravitz said, “We are using our expertise in retail to expand our business into locations that have both a retail and a catering side.”
