The Islamic Society of Greater Youngstown is holding a community vigil for peace on Friday.
The group wants the community to come together and show solidarity for New Zealand Muslims following mosque attacks last week that killed 50 people.
Their goal with the vigil in Youngstown is “to show that we are one community united and standing strong together in respect, honor, love and peace.”
Everyone is invited to come to the vigil, which will start at 6 p.m.
It will be at Masjid Al-Khair at 1670 Homewood Ave. in Youngstown.
