HUBBARD, Ohio (WYTV) – Hubbard Police are investigating a jewelry store burglary that happened early Friday morning on Main Street.

Police say the suspect smashed through the front door of Village Goldsmith around midnight, setting off the store’s alarm.

Police say the suspect got in and out before anyone could see him. Watches were taken worth several thousand dollars.

“The response time from the police department is usually on the money here, and there isn’t a whole lot of time to do any shopping after hours,” said owner Dave Madeline.

Police are asking anyone with information on the burglary to call Hubbard City Police at 330-534-1133.
