High winds Sunday cause thousands of power outages throughout Valley

If you experience an outage, Ohio Edison is asking for customers to report it immediately

(WYTV) – We’re still dealing with power outages from Sunday’s storms.

Mahoning and Trumbull counties were hit the hardest. Thousands of residents are still without power there.

As of 5:30 a.m. Monday, Trumbull County still has 2,672 without power.

Mahoning County has 1,019 in the dark.

In Columbiana County, there are 290 without power.

There are over 3,112 without power in Trumbull County.

At one point Sunday, there were over 170,000 without power throughout northeast Ohio.

In Pennsylvania, Penn Power is reporting 307 without power in Lawrence County and 640 in Mercer County.

First Energy has not given a time for when power will come back on.

If you experience an outage, First Energy is asking for customers to report it immediately. According to a Facebook post, it says customer outage reports help their crews identify damage locations and restore power faster.

To report an outage, go to the First Energy website, call 888-544-4877 or text OUT to 544487.
