WARREN, Ohio (WYTV – Hubbard’s former mayor Richard Keenan appeared in court Monday for a pretrial on sexual assault charges.
Keenan faces eight counts of gross sexual imposition, eight counts of rape and four counts of attempted rape. Bond was continued at $75,000.
A pretrial was set for 8:30 a.m. December 19, and trial is scheduled at 11 a.m. April 24.
Keenan previously pleaded not guilty to the charges, and a judge ordered that he have no contact with children. He is accused of molesting a four year old, beginning in September of 2013.
The 65-year-old was sworn in as Hubbard’s mayor in January of 2010 until John Darko took office in December of 2011. He was not in office during the time of the alleged crimes.
