WARREN, Ohio (WYTV) – A firefighter was injured and some tenants will have to find a new place to live after a fire at an apartment complex in Warren on Tuesday.
Crews were called about 5:30 p.m. to the 4300 block of Berkshire Drive SE.
The fire started on the second floor and quickly spread to two units.
Fire officials say the wind made it difficult to put out the flames.
“The wind was a factor in creating more flame volume for us,” said Assistant Chief Chuck Eggleston.

Everyone made it out safely and all pets were saved.
The firefighter was treated for a minor ankle injury.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
