Fan Fever high for Cavs in Game 3 of Finals

Local News

Over 20,000 screaming fans will do everything they can to help the Cavs get a much-needed win in the NBA Finals.

The team and fans have been here before – down 0-2 to the Warriors in the Finals.

Cleveland also trailed Boston 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Final before winning games three and four at home on their way to winning the series in seven games.

33 WYTV News caught up with some Cavs fans Tuesday at Dick’s in Boardman to see how they are feeling after dropping the first two games.

“LeBron always showed up. If the rest of the team shows up, it’ll be great, but I don’t know, said Tom Blocksom.

Last year, the Cavs saw a six-point lead slip away in the final three minutes and lost 118-113. The year before, in 2016, Cleveland hammered the Warriors by 30 points in Game 3 on their way to winning their first and only championship.

Game 3 is Wednesday night in Cleveland. Tip-off is a little after 9 p.m. at Quicken Loans Arena.

33 WYTV sports anchor Chase Evans will be at the Q. Watch for his live reports starting tonight on 33 News at 6 p.m.

Game 4 is Friday night, also in Cleveland.
