YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WYTV) – A check for $26,250 was presented to Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley during its annual Miracles and Promises Radiothon.
In June, Dunkin’ Donuts held an art contest for local residents to design the Fall Miracles for Munchkins travel mug. The winner’s mug design is being sold at Dunkin’ Donuts locations.
All of the money raised from the mug sales went to the hospital.
“It goes right back into the community. Not only is Akron Children’s a great institute, but it helps, not only our employees, our guests, but everyone in the Youngstown area,” said Caleb Watters, vice president of operations at Dunkin’ Donuts.
This is the fourth year that the contest, which kicked off this year in April, has been held.
