Driver hits pole, knocks out power on Youngstown street

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A driver ditched their car after hitting a utility pole in Youngstown early Tuesday morning.

It happened just after 1 a.m. at the intersection of Canfield and Rogers roads.

Police found the car, but not the driver.

The accident knocked out power for some customers for several hours. Power was restored by 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
